dates you provide, we are not able to hold any flights.
Availability and cost of flights are changing on a daily basis).

Complete your ‘viewing trip booking form’, returning this to our UK
office. Once we have received your completed booking form in our
UK office we will contact you in order to take your booking enquiry
to the next stage. (Your ‘viewing trip booking form’ will be sent to
you when submitting your details upon our website or upon your
request by contacting amie@homesinbulgaria.co.uk or our UK
office on 01202 417760.

This will be dependant on the region you wish to view and the flights
available for the dates you wish to travel. We recommend a
minimum of a 4 night stay during your viewing trip. The first and
last day of your trip will be spent travelling to and from Bulgaria.
This will then allow 2 full days viewing with us, leaving a day aside
after your viewing trip should you wish to proceed in putting any
paperwork in place to proceed once you have returned home.
This day will also provide you with time to yourself to evaluate
in making a sensible decision once you have returned home.

Many clients like to travel from airports in the UK that are of course
more convenient for them. Although many airports will offer flights
to Bulgaria, many of these will be package holidays which will
mean travelling for a minimum of a 7 night stay including
accommodation that may be 100’s of miles from where you want
to view property.
The airports best suited for daily direct flights to Bulgaria are in
London (Luton, Heathrow & Gatwick). Direct flights from
Manchester to Bulgaria are also available upon certain days of
the week.

This will vary as to the time of year, which airport you wish to
travel from/to, how far in advance your flights are booked, the time
of arrival and departure, etcÉ An average cost of a return flight
from the UK to Bulgaria is approximately £180.00 per person.
However, return flights with the well known budget airlines are
available from approximately £70 per person.

Yes. Where possible however we like to arrange your viewing trip
for you during the week. We understand that it is not always
convenient to arrange a viewing trip during this time due to work
and other commitments. It is sensible to remember that as here
in the UK for example, many services are closed over the weekend
periods in Bulgaria. You will need to plan at least 1 working day
in Bulgaria to give you the opportunity to complete any paperwork
should you wish to proceed. It is also important to be aware of
any ‘bank holidays’ in Bulgaria as these will also be non working
days where many services will again not be available to you.
Bank holidays in Bulgaria are different from those here in the UK.

Once your flights are booked and confirmed we are able to assist
you with the booking of your accommodation in Bulgaria for your
stay should you wish. This will ensure that you are in the right
place at the right time to suit your itinerary. The hotels we are
able to book on your behalf are hotels that we recommend
throughout the different regions. These hotels are of the
equivalent of 2/3 star hotels in the UK. Should you wish to
stay in an alternate hotel please let us know and we will be
happy to help you with your booking.

This will all depend on the region/location of the hotel.
For example, within the capital of Sofia, hotels will be more
expensive than those within for example, the central, rural region
of Veliko Tarnovo. The cost of accommodation will also vary on
the time of year. For example, the Coastal region out of season
will be much more affordable than in months such as June,
July and August. You can expect to pay an average of between
30-50 euros per night, per person for bed & breakfast.

We charge a set fee of £100 for a viewing trip with us.
This fee is payable to our UK office upon confirmation of
your booking.

All of the fees we charge are set so that you know exactly what costs
are involved in your investment prior to your viewing trip.
Many agents choose not charge for a viewing trip, many will charge
‘petrol’ costs only. All of these are attempts to get as many people
on a viewing trip as possible. The challenge is that any costs
incurred by the arrangement of a viewing trip will be paid for
somewhereÉ ..unfortunately nothing is for free and as well as
paying for your viewing trip (in most cases on top of the purchase
price of a property) you will also be paying for those people having
been on a viewing trip who have not proceeded to buy.

Yes. It is important however that you are in the right place at the
right time depending on the development you would like to view.
It is also important for you to make our UK office aware of the dates
of your holiday prior to your booking so that we can make sure that
we have the availability to meet with you in Bulgaria during
your stay.

Each viewing trip arranged and booked with us is personally hosted
on a one-to-one basis. This gives you the best possible chance to view
and decide on the right property with no pressure.

Yes. We are able to meet you from the airport upon your arrival in
Bulgaria. Please be aware that this will be dependant on the time
and day of your arrival. All of this and more will be confirmed in
your itinerary sent to you prior to your departure.

We do not work with any 3rd party agents in Bulgaria. We have
3 offices throughout Bulgaria all of which are managed by our own
staff. All of our staff in Bulgaria are Bulgarian and speak fluent
English. Your viewing trip will be hosted by our staff within the
relevant office to the development you choose to view.

Yes. Once every aspect of your viewing trip has been confirmed,
an itinerary will be sent to you in the post prior to your departure.
This full, A4 itinerary will include confirmation timetable and
staff profiles, the purchase process, relevant contact telephone
numbers... all of the relevant information you will need during
your stay, holding your hand throughout your trip.

No. You will be under NO pressure whatsoever to proceed with the
purchase of a property with us prior, during or after your viewing
trip. Our team are Homes in Bulgaria employees and you will not
be passed on to 3rd party sales agents at any time.

No. We do not advise any of our clients to depart with any funds
for a purchase whilst on your viewing trip. Should you wish to
proceed with a property purchase upon your return home we will
then be happy to advise you of the next steps. You are able to put
all of the necessary paperwork in place whilst in Bulgaria during
your trip should you wish to proceed once you have
returned home.

During your viewing trip, should you decide that you wish to
proceed with a property purchase we would advise for you to open
your own personal Bulgarian bank account. This is something we
would recommend so that you are always in control of your own
funds/transfers from your own personal bank account in the
UK to your own personal bank account in Bulgaria.

Should you wish to proceed with a property it will be necessary to
put any paperwork in place so that your Bulgarian company can be
formed on your behalf once you have returned home. This is
something we are able to assist you with as part of your purchase
under Power of Attorney.

All of the funds for your purchase will be able to be transferred
through your own bank accounts both here and in Bulgaria, keeping
control of your funds throughout the purchase. Bank transfers can
be organised by visiting or calling your local branch or by internet
banking. In many cases a Power of Attorney will be responsible
for the administration of your funds in Bulgaria.

Once you are the proud owner of your property there may be
additional services that you will require. Some of these additional
services will be essential to your investment.
These include: property insurance, the payment of any tax and
utility bills, organising the annual auditing of your Bulgarian
company, Home Care Maintenance (security), etc. We are able to
offer all of these ‘after sales’ services and more. If you would like a
